HOME INSURANCE
Building Cover

A place to stay – if your home needs to be repaired or rebuilt and you need to stay elsewhere temporarily, the cost of your accommodation will be covered up to specified limits.

Accidental glass breakage – coverage for fixed glass in the building, including window tinting or shatter proofing material attached to the glass. Also accidental breakage for shower bases, basins, sinks spas, baths and toilets.

Architect, surveyor and legal fees – reasonable costs up to 10% in addition to the sum insured of employing an architect or surveyor and also paying any legal fees if you need to rebuild following a total loss.



Contents Cover

New for old – replacement cover on most contents. When you make a claim, you will receive the full amount required to replace your item/s at today's prices – not just a fraction.

Automatic cover for valuable items such as jewellery and watches, gold and silver items, collections of coins, medals and stamps, sporting equipment and certain battery powered items as specified in the policy up to certain limits.

Electrical burnout (fusion) – cost to repair or replace your electric motor in general content items that are less than 15 years of age.

Replacement of keys and cost to replace locks and barrels – if a key to an external door or window lock is stolen or lost.

Frozen food – the reasonable cost to replace frozen food if your freezer breaks down as a result of an event that the policy covers.

LANDLORD INSURANCE

Electrical burnout (fusion) – cost to repair or replace your electric motor in general content items that are less than 15 years of age.

Loss or damage – to your investment property caused by a tenant or their visitors.

Rent default and theft by a tenant – up to $5000, if your tenant leaves the investment property before the end of the tenancy period without giving you notice, is legally evicted from your investment property, or stops paying rent to you or your agent.

Water or liquid damage – by loss or damage by water or liquid escaping from things such as a fixed pipe, bath, sauna, sink, washing machine, dishwasher or water bed.

Loss or damage as a result of vandalism or a malicious act.

Loss of rent – equal to the weekly amount specified in your tenancy agreement up to $52,000 if your building or section of your building suffer loss or damage and is unhabitable as a result.

Public liability up to $20 million.
